About Me
HI, and welcome to my website. I am excited to welcome you here! I am proud of all the work I have done in the past years and hope you enjoy them as well.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Tanya Meinhardt, I am 24 year old. I enjoys life. Every part of it. (even the darkest times, we just know that theres always light at the end of the tunnel.)
How did I get into graphic design. I was attending Harper College for general education, like many people my age didn't have a clue in mind what I wanted to do with my life. I enjoyed writing and interviewing people so I took some journalism classes, I was going to be the next Oprah, or Diane Sawyer. I was in my second class for journalism and it just didnt seem right anymore. While I was in one of the journalism classes we had to do projects about other fields with-in journalism and another student did it on Graphic Design, I was hooked. I loved scrapbooking and making posters and being creative. After class I looked up graphic design, and contacted The IL institute of Art Schaumburg. Like they say in movies the rest was history.
I love animals and have had many times growing up. Everything from lizards to hamsters, to cats and dogs. I currently own 2 ferrets, a bird, and this past year (2011) I got a dog named Apple. She is a Lab mix.
